Fashions Night Out: Indy
Mayor Greg Ballard has publicly endorsed the fashion community by approving the city of Indianapolis to take part in the inaugural Fashion's Night Out, September 6, 2012 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. With Pattern Indy leading the charge to promote FNO in Indianapolis there will be four fashion hotspots for you to visit and enjoy! The Fashion Mall, Saks Fifth Ave, the Circle Centre Mall and the Indianapolis International Airport.
The Indianapolis International Airport is sponsoring Aesthetic Design Style House and three of their fashion houses: Studio NTK, Sweet Revenge Lingerie, and House of 5th, to produce a fashion showcase and pop up shop to be held in the Civic Center in the main corridor of the airport.
Fashion's Night Out is a premier event for fashion designers, retailers, and enthusiast. For one night, retailers and businesses stay open late to drive retail sales, boost the local economy, and give fashion a voice. What started as a New York Fashion Week staple, has become a nationwide event. Other major metropolitan cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and many more participate in this annual affair. Fashion innovators locally have tried for years to get the city of Indianapolis to take part in Fashion's Night Out. This year, it finally happened and the city will host its very own Fashion's Night Out!!!
