Long Winter Dress Look!
For winter I always love to wear dresses, the richness of the textures and colors mixed with stockings and platform boots or shoes would always make my heart go pitter, patter. Although, I generally would wear short/knee length dresses in the past, now that I am a mother and my tastes have changed a tad I would love to wear a long winter dress look. I still love a great short winter dress though, it is something very intriguing and classy about the short style.
The Christian Dior dress pictured above totally inspires me to find a similar look, from head to toe! Christian Dior Fall/Winter 2012 has some very ladylike, tailored, vintage inspired looks that would be great for the holiday season.
This dress in particular is a knockout, from the color blocked design of leather and polyester, to the long sleeves, to the flow of the dress and the styling is superb. The new head designer at Dior did a fabulous job.
Take a look below for a few quick picks of somewhat similar styles. The main criteria that I was going for with the images below are good fall rich color, texture, flow and length. I hope that you enjoy, CIAO!!
