Midwest Fashion Week Indianapolis
After a short run in Chicago, Midwest Fashion Week will return to its hometown of Indianapolis for six full days of events during its much anticipated Fall 2014 season. Events in the Circle City will begin Monday, October 20 and will conclude on Saturday, October 25.
The full schedule for the week is as follows:
Monday, October 20 - Jazz Kitchen (5377 N College Avenue Indianapolis, IN 46220)
Networking seminar hosted by Faith Moore-McKinney of the Successful Thinkers Network and featuring guest speaker Cindy L. Crowder, Ph.D, associate professor and Department Chair of the Department of Human Resource Development & Performance Technologies at Indiana State University. Free admission.
Tuesday, October 21 - Jazz Kitchen (5377 N College Avenue Indianapolis, IN 46220)
Networking seminar hosted by Faith Moore-McKinney of the Successful Thinkers Network and featuring guest speaker Deanna Swisher, Shareholder at Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith, P.C. where she leads the firm's fashion and design law team, Fosterfashion. Free admission.
Wednesday, October 22 - MDG Salon (355 Indiana Ave #100 Indianapolis, IN 46204)
Fashion show hosted by Hot 96.3 radio personality, Ms. E-Klass, and Real Scene TV host, Danielle Hester. The evening will conclude with live performance. Free admission.
Thursday, October 23 - Artsgarden (110 West Washington Street Indianapolis, IN 46204)
Networking, shopping and runway showcase featuring the works of established designers in a live runway fashion show. The evening will be hosted by Jon Bausman, host of Real Scene TV. Tickets available for purchase online.
Friday, October 24 - Artsgarden (110 West Washington Street Indianapolis, IN 46204)
Networking, shopping and runway showcase featuring the works of established designers in a live runway fashion show. The evening will be hosted by Barry Lantz of A Lantz Design and Consulting and Jade Newton, Ms. Indiana United States 2014. Tickets available for purchase online.
Saturday, October 25 - Indiana War Memorial (431 North Meridian Street Indianapolis, IN 46204)
Networking, shopping and runway showcase featuring the works of established designers in a live runway fashion show. The night will include children' s wear designers and performance and talents for entertainment. Tickets available for purchase online.
The runway shows will be produced by Iran "Bang" Paylor and Aaron Handy, notable, professional and expert fashion show producers, directors and runway trainers who have worked with countless designers across the United States and worldwide for more than a decade. The talented and dynamic duo are also well established fashion designers and entrepreneurs for the brand Kinetic Styles. In their hometown Washington, District of Columbia they own the community based organization Models Inc. to build self-esteem, enrich young adults and create a safe place for at-risk youth and young adults to express themselves artistic development and runway performance.
